Putin shoots rifle at Kalashnikov shooting range
KUBINKA (Moscow region). Sept 19 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin has visited a sniper gallery at a shooting center owned by Kalashnikov at Patriot Park in Kubinka in the Moscow region and shot a SVCh-308 rifle.
He watched a video presentation about the opening of the center and the creation of an integration division within the arms concern and about new principles and approaches used at Kalashnikov.
Putin was also shown two experimental rifles.
After the tour of the shooting gallery, he fired five rounds from the SVCh-308 at a target 600 meters away, hitting it more than half of the time.
