Nazarbayev offers condolences to Putin on deaths of Il-20 crewmembers - Kremlin
MOSCOW. Sept 20 (Interfax) - Kazakh President Nursultan Nazarbayev called Russian President Vladimir Putin on Thursday, the Kremlin's press service said.
"The president of Kazakhstan offered his condolences over the tragic death of the Russian servicemen who were on board the Il-20 aircraft downed in Syria," it said.
The two leaders also "discussed key aspects of the bilateral agenda, the prospects of joint work within the integration associations in Eurasian territory, and relevant international problems," the Kremlin said.
Putin and Nazarbayev also discussed the schedule of their upcoming contacts, it said.
"The leaders discussed the schedule of upcoming meetings, including preparations for an upcoming session of the Council of the Heads of State of the Commonwealth of Independent States in Tajikistan," the Kazakh presidential press service said.
