Putin has full info about Il-20 incident, Defense Ministry should give specific comments - Peskov
MOSCOW. Sept 21 (Interfax) - Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has referred to the Defense Ministry a question about Israeli information on the crash of Russia's Ilyushin Il-20 over the Mediterranean Sea.
Journalists asked Peskov about the Kremlin's view of the materials provided by Israel. "You should ask military specialists," he said.
"The president possesses full information, but these are technicalities, so you should ask our colleagues in the Defense Ministry," Peskov said.
He said it would be premature to talk about political conclusions the Russian administration may draw from the Israeli information. "It is too early for such questions, you should ask the Defense Ministry first," he said.
