Ukraine increases oil output 2.7% in 8M, gas condensate up 0.8%
KYIV. Sept 26 (Interfax) - Oil production in Ukraine in January-August 2018 grew 2.7% year-over-year, to 1.004 million tonnes, the Ukrainian Energy and Coal Industry Ministry told Interfax.
Gas condensate production grew 0.8% to 441,936 tonnes.
Naftogaz Ukrainy increased oil production 2.2% in 8M 2018 to 976,082 tonnes and gas condensate output went down 7.1% to 278,330 tonnes. Ukrnafta boosted oil production 2.9% to 926,300 tonnes while production of gas condensate fell 16.1% to 33,400 tonnes. Ukrgazvydobuvannia cut oil production 9% to 50,520 tonnes and gas condensate by 5.7% to 244,930 tonnes.
Other oil companies increased oil production 26.3% to 26,684 tonnes in 8M and condensate - 17.7% to 163,606 tonnes.
As reported, Ukraine saw oil and gas condensate production fall 4.2% to 2.098 million tonnes in 2017.
