Peskov: Putin's working schedule for next week includes meeting with Austrian chancellor

MOSCOW. Sept 27 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin is planning to meet again with Austrian Chancellor Sebastian Kurz in St. Petersburg next week, Kremlin press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

Peskov said yes when asked whether there is a meeting with Kurz in Putin's working schedule for the next week.

Peskov then told reporters more details about the upcoming meeting.

"The leaders use every meeting to have an extensive exchange of views on hot topics. This includes Ukraine, Syria, Russia-EU relations and other issues," Peskov said when asked about the meeting's agenda.

The Russian-Austrian relations "are developing upwards; there are very firm plans to further expand trade and investment cooperation in various fields," Peskov said.

This will be the fourth meeting between Putin and Kurz this year.

Last time they met in late August, when Putin went to Austria on a private visit to attend the wedding of the country's foreign minister, Karin Kneissl.
