Russia talking with U.S. on ending its illegal presence in Syria's al-Tanf - Lavrov
NEW YORK. Sept 28 (Interfax) - Moscow is talking with Washington on putting an end to the United States' illegal presence near al-Tanf in southern Syria, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.
"There is a terrorist refuge within this circle that the Americans have drawn around al-Tanf," Lavrov said at a press conference in New York on Friday.
"We are talking with the Americans now to end this illegal presence," he said.
"The UN has joined the process of bringing the people out of the camp of Rukban, where they are staying in absolutely inhumane conditions," he said.
