Armenia should hold early parliamentary elections before end of 2018 - Prime Minister Pashinyan
YEREVAN. Oct 1 (Interfax) - Early parliamentary elections in Armenia should be held within the next two or three months, the country's Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said.
"Today saw the first instance of communication on the subject of early elections with a representative of the Republican Party [led by ex-president Serzh Sargsyan]. We have agreed to launch a negotiating process," Pashinyan said after meeting with the Party's parliamentary faction leader Vagram Bagdasaryan on Monday.
"We believe that elections should be held as quickly as possible, within two or three months, for example," Pashinyan said.
