Russian Defense Ministry receives area in Sea of Azov - govt decree
MOSCOW. Oct 3 (Interfax-AVN) - The Russian government will give the Defense Ministry an area in the waters of the Sea of Azov located 45 kilometers from the Ukrainian coast.
The government decree is available for viewing on the database of legal information. According to the document, the Defense Ministry will be able to use the area for 20 years "to ensure the defense of the country and the security of the state."
According to an appendix to the document, the area is located near the city of Yeisk in the Krasnodar Territory, 45 kilometers from the Ukrainian coast.
Fishing and other private and commercial activities will be prohibited in the area.
