Sollers car, LCV sales in Russia fall 11.5% to 3,453 UAZ, 1 SsangYong car in Sept
MOSCOW. Oct 4 (Interfax) - Russian auto manufacturer Sollers reduced sales of cars and light commercial vehicles (LCV) 11.5% year-on-year in September to 3,354 units, the Association of European Businesses (AEB) said in a press release.
The group sold 3,453 UAZ cars and 1 SsangYong car in September.
Sales in January-September were down 5.8% year-on-year to 27,110 of which 27,029 were UAZ, down 5.8% and 81 were SsangYong, down 10%.
In 2017, Sollers sales fell 16.5% to 41,800 vehicles.
Sollers includes Ulyanovsk Automotive Plant (UAZ), which produces UAZ cars and is the key asset of the group, Zavolzhsky Motor Plant . The group also has the Ford Sollers joint venture and a joint venture in the Far East with Mazda to produce the Mazda CX-5, Mazda CX-9 and Mazda 6.
