Putin speaks in favor of young people's work to identify burial sites, fallen soldiers
MOGILYOV. Oct 12 (Interfax) - Civic engagement of young people should be supported, and they should be involved in preserving historical memory, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.
"We need to support the civic activity of the younger generation, its involvement in social and humanitarian programs," Putin said at a plenary session of the 5th Forum of Regions of Russia and Belarus.
The work of young people to find burial sites and determine the names of fallen soldiers should be supported to preserve historical memory, he said.
