Budget spent 89 bln rubles in last 5 yrs on shipbuilding technology for shelf - deputy PM
KALININGRAD. Oct 12 (Interfax) - The state program for development of shipbuilding technology to develop offshore fields in 2013-2030 had received 88.8 billion rubles as of the end of 2017, Deputy Prime Minister Yury Borisov said at a meeting of the Maritime Collegium on Friday.
"The overall volume of financing for state program measures in 2013-2030 totals 334.6 billion rubles. In the period from 2013 through 2017, about 88.8 billion rubles was spent," he said.
The goal of the program is to increase fivefold production of civilian vessels, shipbuilding and ship repair technology compared with 2013 and to raise the level of localization in shipbuilding production to 70%. "Serious resources are being allocated to achieve these goals," Borisov said.
