Russia seeks to substitute imports of atomic energy products, technologies
MOSCOW. Oct 15 (Interfax) - Russia will implement a package of measures to substitute products and technologies imported for the atomic energy industry.
The pledge was made in the fundamentals of the national policy of nuclear and radiation security for the period until 2025 and further prospect approved by Russian President Vladimir Putin with an executive order.
The fundamentals include "the principle of the substitution of imports in the atomic energy sector."
The document urged the need for "a package of measures to substitute crucial products and technologies imported for the atomic energy industry."
