Russian, Egyptian presidents to have informal meeting in Sochi on Tuesday evening - Peskov
MOSCOW. Oct 15 (Interfax) - The talks between the Russian and Egyptian presidents, Vladimir Putin and Abdel Fattah el-Sisi, will start with an informal dinner in Sochi on Tuesday evening, presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.
"The talks will start in Sochi tomorrow night; communication will be informal. This is a very effective format that enables the heads of state to discuss the most pressing matters before official talks begin," Peskov said.
Putin and el-Sisi will hold formal talks in Sochi on Wednesday.
El-Sisi is also due to meet with Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow on Tuesday.
