Launches of Soyuz-type rockets from Russian cosmodromes may resume on Nov 3 - source
MOSCOW. Oct 16 (Interfax) - Launches of Soyuz-type spacecraft following the October 11 Soyuz MS-10 accident may be resumed at the beginning of November, a Russian rocket and space sector source told Interfax.
"The first of them may become the launch of the Soyuz 2.1b launch vehicle with a Fregat upper stage from Plesetsk [Cosmodrome] on November 3," the source said.
The rocket is expected to put a GLONASS-M satellite into orbit.
It was reported earlier that all launches of Soyuz-type spacecraft were suspended after the Soyuz MS-10 failed during ascent after liftoff from the Baikonur Cosmodrome on October 11.
