Council of Ministers of Russia-Belarus Union State to meet on Dec 13 in Brest

MINSK. Oct 18 (Interfax) - The Council of Ministers of the Russia-Belarus Union State will hold a session in Brest on December 13, Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Rumas said at a Thursday meeting with State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota.

"The Belarusian side suggested holding the Council of Ministers in Brest on December 13. The consent of the Russian side has been received," Rumas said as quoted by BelTA state news agency.

Rapota said that the high-level group of the Council of Ministers will hold a session on November 14. The documents for the two meetings will be compiled by October 20. "After summing them up we will propose the final version of the agenda of the meeting of the Council of Ministers of the Union State," Rapota said.

He said that general work on all issues suggested for the agenda has started. Still he invited Rumas to additionally discuss a number of matters.
