Talks between Patrushev, Bolton constructive, they agreed to continue dialogue - Russian Security Council

MOSCOW. Oct 22 (Interfax-AVN) - The meeting between Russian Security Council Secretary Nikolai Patrushev and United States National Security Advisor John Bolton has been held in a constructive fashion, the press service of the Russian Security Council said following the talks on Monday.

"The meeting was held in a constructive and businesslike manner. The sides have frankly discussed the prospects of building dialogue between Moscow and Washington on strategic issues of security at various levels," the press service said.

Patrushev and Bolton agreed to continue dialogue between the Russian and U.S. Security Councils, the press service said.

"This contact was important for the implementation of the agreements reached at the talks between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump on July 16, 2018," the press service said.
