Moscow sees Bolton's comments after talks with Russian officials as inappropriate - source
MOSCOW. Oct 23 (Interfax) - Russia is perplexed by the comments U.S. National Security Advisor John Bolton made following his consultations in Moscow on Monday, a high-ranking source told reporters.
"We are puzzled by Bolton's comments in the media following his meetings at the Russian Security Council and the Foreign Ministry," the source said.
"Specifically, the American representative said that he discussed the situation in the Caucasus and China with his Russian colleagues," the source said.
"The situation in the Caucasus was not discussed at all," the source said.
"As far as the China issue is concerned, the Russian side suggested discussing this matter together with China," the source said.
