Astana-format deputy foreign ministers to meet in preparation for high-format meeting on Syria - Russian Foreign Ministry

MOSCOW. Oct 23 (Interfax) - Russian, Turkish and Iranian deputy foreign ministers are meeting in Moscow to prepare for a high-level session on Syria in Astana and discuss the situation in Syria, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Vershinin said.

"We are set to use our today's consultations in this format for an update and to analyze the situation on the ground and around Syria and to continue our successful interaction in the Astana format including by convening and holding yet another high-level meeting in Astana," Vershinin said before the consultations.
