Vladimir Kozhin becomes first deputy chair of Federation Council Defense and Security Committee
MOSCOW. Oct 24 (Interfax) - Vladimir Kozhin, the former head of the Russian Presidential Property Management Department, has become the first deputy chairman of the Federation Council Defense and Security Committee.
The Federation Council approved the decision on Wednesday.
Kozhin became a senator as the result of a regional election in September. He represents the executive branch of the government of Moscow in the Federation Council.
