Ryabkov: hopefully, deployment of new U.S. systems abroad will cause minimal harm to Russia, but there's no confirmation of it for now

MOSCOW. Oct 25 (Interfax) - Russia is hopeful that a possible deployment by the United States of its new systems abroad will cause as little harm as possible to Russia, but there is no confirmation of it at this point, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said.

"I very much would like to hope that this limited harm will remain as such. But at this point I do not see any grounds for creating such an artificial optimistic background," Ryabkov told the Channel One television station on Wednesday, adding that there is no confirmation of it for now.
