Gazprom Neft, Gazprom, Novatek, Lukoil interested in working with Indonesian cos
MOSCOW. Oct 26 (Interfax) - Promising areas for cooperation between Russian and Indonesian companies are the oil and gas sector, conventional electric power, nuclear power and renewable energy, the Russian Energy Ministry said after a meeting between Deputy Minister Anatoly Yanovsky and the deputy chairman of Indonesia's Regional Representative Council, Nono Sampono.
Oil and gas companies Rosneft , Gazprom Neft , Zarubezhneft, Gazprom Novatek and Lukoil are interested in working with Indonesian partners, as are power companies Inter RAO and RusHydro , engineering companies United Engine Corporation (UEC) and Power Machines, and renewable energy company Hevel, Yanovsky was reported as saying.
"Russian corporations are studying the possibility of participating in oil and gas projects and construction of new and expansion of existing energy facilities in Indonesia as general contractors and suppliers of core equipment," Yanovsky said.
In the course of the meeting the parties agreed to continue efforts to expand bilateral cooperation in the energy sector.
