Russian diplomats hold meetings in Pyongyang
MOSCOW. Oct 26 (Interfax) - Russian diplomats held consultations in the North Korean Foreign Ministry on ways to bolster interaction between the two countries on international platforms during a visit to Pyongyang, the Russian embassy in Pyongyang said.
"A delegation led by deputy director of the Russian Foreign Ministry's Department of International Organizations Mikael Agasandyan visited Pyongyang on October 22-October 26," the Russian diplomatic mission said on its Facebook page on Friday.
"The Russian diplomats were received by Vice Foreign Minister Pak Myong Guk, met with director of the Department of International Organizations Kim Chang Min and also held constructive talks with the deputy directors of the Department of International Organizations and the First European Department of the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea," it said.
"The sides held a substantive exchange of opinions on ways to strengthen interaction on the platforms of international organizations, including the UN, and also on key bilateral issues," it said.
