N. Korean leader may visit Russia before end of 2018 - MP Slutsky
MOSCOW. Nov 6 (Interfax) - North Korean leader Kim Jong Un may visit Russia, Chairman of the Russian State Duma Foreign Affairs Committee Leonid Slutsky told reporters on Tuesday.
"But I would not give any concrete dates at this point. Such work is underway. Let's hope this visit takes place before the end of this year," Slutsky said.
Russia attaches great importance to achieving a settlement on the Korean Peninsula and stands ready to develop dialogue on this matter at all levels, including the parliamentary level, he said.
