Sanctions undermine int'l system, time bomb planted under WTO - Medvedev
BEIJING. Nov 7 (Interfax) - International sanctions have planted a time bomb under World Trade Organization (WTO) procedures, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said.
"In fact, a time bomb has been planted under the WTO regimes now, which the WTO, World Bank, and IMF managers have talked about. So this is very bad," Medvedev told journalists on Wednesday.
The restrictive measures the United States has imposed on other countries to attain its own domestic policy needs erode international regimes, he said.
Medvedev said these matters were discussed during his visit to China.
