Gap between demand-supply in 2019 could be 1-1.4 mln b/d, but forecast may change - Novak
ABU DHABI. Nov 11 (Interfax) - The gap between the oil demand and supply in 2019 could amount to 1-1.4 million barrels per day but the forecast may change, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said after a meeting of the OPEC+ ministerial monitoring committee on Sunday.
"The meeting was extraordinary, and in my view the discussion was very useful. The situation on the market is changing. The technical committee submitted its market forecasts, including for the winter period and for 2019. There were various forecasts, including those which could put the gap between supply and demand at 1 - 1.4 million b/d," Novak said.
There are factors which might change the forecasts, he said.
