Italy expects Putin to visit in H1 2019
MOSCOW. Nov 13 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will visit Italy in the first half of 2019, according to Italian Ambassador to Russia Pasquale Terracciano.
"As for political issues, the main event will be President Vladimir Putin's visit to Italy in the first half of next year," Terracciano said at a press conference on Tuesday.
Russia, in turn, will be visited by President of the Italian Senate Maria Elisabetta Alberti Casellati and the president of the Chamber of Deputies, accompanied by a large parliamentary delegation, he said.
The Italian-Russian Council for Economic, Industrial, and Financial Cooperation will meet on December 17, and the working group will have several meetings, including one in St. Petersburg, before that, Terracciano said.
