Medvedev arrives in Vietnam

HANOI. Nov 18 (Interfax) - Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has arrived in Vietnam on an official visit after attending the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation summit in Papua New Guinea.

In Hanoi, Medvedev will have talks with Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and meet with Secretary General of the Vietnamese Communist Party Central Committee and Vietnamese President Nguyen Phu Trong, and Vietnamese National Assembly Chair Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, the Russian government's press service said earlier.

The prime minister is set to discuss bilateral trade, investment, and industrial and energy cooperation with the Vietnamese leadership.

Other topics of discussion include the implementation of major joint infrastructural, high-tech, educational, and humanitarian projects, including the Russia-Vietnam cross-year in 2019.
