Osaka to host World EXPO 2025, Yekaterinburg drops out of race - organizers
PARIS. Nov 23 (Interfax) - The Japanese city of Osaka has won the title to host the World EXPO 2025, having surpassed Yekaterinburg in the second round of voting, the International Exhibitions Bureau (BIE) said.
During the vote in Paris, Osaka won 92 votes, Yekaterinburg 61; the winner is decided by a simple majority of votes, the BIE said on Twitter.
