Total of 85 Russians return to Minsk after being denied entry by Ukraine - Belarusian State Border Committee
MINSK. Nov 28 (Interfax) - Eighty-five citizens of Russia have been denied entry into Ukraine through the Kyiv International Airport and have returned to Minsk, Belarusian State Border Committee spokesman Anton Bychkovsky told Interfax.
"Another 38 Russian citizens have returned to [Minsk Airport] from Kyiv by plane," Bychkovsky said.
Bychkovsky said there were 47 such people on Tuesday. "So we're not seeing an upward trend [in the number of denied entries per day]," he said.
Entry has been denied to passengers on both the Belarusian national airline Belavia and foreign airlines traveling from Minsk to Kyiv, Bychkovsky said. "About a quarter of those passengers were transported by foreign airlines in the past 24 hours," he said.
