Polish foreign minister to pay 2-day visit to Ukraine

KYIV. Nov 29 (Interfax) - Poland's Foreign Minister Jacek Czaputowicz will be in Kyiv on an official visit on November 30-December 1, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said.

On December 1 Ukraine's Foreign Minister Pavlo Klimkin and his Polish counterpart will visit the national historical monument the Bykivnia Graves, the ministry's press service said.

On the same day, the ministers will visit the national reserve St. Sophia of Kyiv, where they will deliver the Polish award Pro Dignitate Humane to the family of the Ukrainian film director Oleh Sentsov who is serving a 20-year prison sentence in Russia for terrorism.

Plans also include talks between the two countries' foreign ministries and a number of top-level meetings to discuss pressing bilateral issues.

During the visit Czaputowicz and Klimkin will also participate in a ninth session of the Ukrainian-Polish partnership forum and hold a joint press conference.
