Lukoil buys 1.18% of own shares since start of buyback

MOSCOW. Dec 11 (Interfax) - Lukoil subsidiary Lukoil Securities, has acquired 974,781 shares in the oil company within its buyback program in the period from December 3 through December 7, comprising 0.13% of shares, as well as 1,326,610 American Depositary Receipts (ADRs), or 0.18% of charter capital, the company said in a statement.

An overall 10 ADR transactions were carried out at an average price of $77.48 per receipt, along with 5 share deals at an average price of 5,155.23 rubles per share.

Since the start of the buyback, 7,205,126 shares totaling 0.96% of the issuer's charter capital and 1,649,032 ADRs comprising 0.22% of charter capital have been bough.

A total of $655.3 million has been spent on the program.

Lukoil announced the program to buy back shares and depositary receipts on the open market for up to $3 billion on September 3. The program runs from September 3, 2018 to December 30, 2022.
