Ukrainian PM discusses in Brussels possibility of sending EU assessment mission for infrastructure projects to country

KYIV. Dec 17 (Interfax) - The possibility of sending an assessment mission for infrastructure projects has been discussed at a meeting of the Association Council between the EU and Ukraine, Ukrainian Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman said.

"We have discussed the possibility of establishing separate infrastructure projects; it applies to the east of the country among others. We discussed the possibility of sending an assessment mission and what infrastructure projects can be implemented," he said at a joint briefing with High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini following the meeting of the EU-Ukraine Association Council in Brussels on Monday.

Such decision could improve logistic ties within the country, including for strengthening opportunities for cooperation between Ukraine and the EU.
