Russian, Jordanian diplomats discuss Syrian refugees
MOSCOW. Dec 20 (Interfax) - Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Representative for the Middle East and Africa Mikhail Bogdanov and Jordanian Ambassador to Russia Amjad Odeh Adaileh have discussed the condition of Syrian refugees, including those in the Rukban camp.
"The parties had a lively exchange of opinions on relevant items from the regional agenda, with emphasis on the situation in Syria, particularly the condition of Syrian refugees and internally displaced persons, including at the Rukban camp at the Jordanian-Syrian border," the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
"They also discussed key aspects of advancing multifaceted Russian-Jordanian interaction, including the maintenance of an active political dialogue," it said.
