Zyuganov hopes for resumption of format of meetings between president, members of Duma factions
MOSCOW. Dec 20 (Interfax) - CPRF leader Gennady Zyuganov has spoken in favor of resumption of the format of meetings between the Russian president and members of the State Duma factions.
"We need to restore normal interaction between the Duma and the president and his administration. Officials cannot determine the procedures for interaction, it's not their issue, it's an issue of national security and full-fledged dialogue," Zyuganov told reporters on Thursday.
Zyuganov said he plans to raise this issue with the president next week. "I hope he will have a relevant reaction. I don't want us to be translated in some other language, I don't want materials that have nothing to do with the real situation to be out on the table. With the real situation in Primorye, in Khakasiya, in the Vladimir region," Zyuganov said.
