Ryabkov: Russia to continue dialogue with U.S. via deconfliction channels in Syria

NEW DELHI. Jan 9 (Interfax) - Russia will maintain its dialogue with the United States through deconfliction channels on Syria, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Wednesday.

"We will continue our dialogue through deconfliction channels with the U.S. We will share information and approaches with all parties involved [in resolving the Syrian crisis], including the European Union and certain European countries," Ryabkov said at a panel discussion during an off-site Valdai Club session as part of the international conference Raisina Dialogue.

"[Russia] is very open, and there's no such thing as a hidden Russian agenda in Syria," he said.

The other guarantor-states adhere to a similarly open approach to the issue of Syrian conflict settlement, he said.
