Putin to visit Kyrgyzstan this year
MOSCOW. Jan 23 (Interfax) - Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov has confirmed that President Vladimir Putin is due to pay a state visit to Kyrgyzstan this year.
"The state visit to Bishkek is indeed on the agenda. But it is too early to announce it," Peskov told the press.
The visit is being coordinated via diplomatic channels, he said.
"Of course, Russian-Kyrgyz relations traditionally have a busy schedule. I will not be announcing any visits for now," Peskov said.
