Maduro has support of Venezuelan army, which wants stability - Shamanov

MOSCOW. Jan 24 (Interfax) - The army supports Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, State Duma Defense Committee Chairman Vladimir Shamanov said.

"Most servicemen are determined to maintain peace, stability, and constitutional order," Shamanov said on Rossiya 24 (VGTRK) television.

"So here Maduro has strong support," he said.
