Evacuation ongoing as structures between technical floor and roof collapse in Perm apartment block - emergencies ministry
MOSCOW. Jan 27 (Interfax) - No one was hurt when structures separating the roof and the technical floor collapsed in an apartment building in the city of Perm, the press service of the Russian Emergency Situations Ministry told Interfax on Sunday, adding that an evacuation is under way.
"Structures between the technical floor and the roof collapsed in a one-section 14-storey apartment building at 3/1, Revolution Street in the city of Perm in the Perm Territory at 1:15 p.m. Moscow time. No apartments have been damaged. No one has been hurt," the press service said.
Tenants are now being evacuated, it said.
