Inspection in Karachayevo-Cherkessia could be followed by HR decisions - source
MOSCOW. Jan 30 (Interfax) - A number of top officials in Karachayevo-Cherkessia could be fired following the revelation of widespread fraud in the republic, an informed source told Interfax on Wednesday.
"Based on the results of an all-round inspection in the republic, which detected instances of embezzlement, HR decisions will be made with respect to officials in the leadership of the region," the source said without elaborating.
Interfax has not received any official comments on this issue.
Earlier, another source said that relevant authorities had conducted a massive inspection in Karachayevo-Cherkessia, uncovering the theft of billions of rubles and the crimes of which Federation Council member Rauf Arashukov and his father are suspected.
