Turkmenistan aims at major gas agreements with Russia - Lavrov
ASHGABAT. Feb 6 (Interfax) - Turkmenistan aims to conclude new major agreements with Russia in the gas field, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said after he met with Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow.
"During our meeting, the Turkmen president expressed his satisfaction with the discussion of gas issues in our dialogue, which aims to conclude new long-term, large-scale agreements," Lavrov told the press.
Bilateral oil-and-gas cooperation will be discussed at a meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation. The date of this meeting is being coordinated, Lavrov said.
