CAS disqualifies Russian race walker Kirdyapkina for 3 years over anti-doping rules breach - Russian Athletics Federation
MOSCOW. Feb 7 (Interfax) - The Lausanne-based Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has ruled to disqualify Russian race walker Anisya Kirdyapkina for three years due to a violation of anti-doping rules, a spokesperson for the Russian Athletics Federation told Interfax on Thursday.
"CAS has decided to disqualify Kirdyapkina for three years because of abnormal blood counts in her biological passport," the spokesperson said.
Kirdyapkina has already wrapped up her professional athletic career.
