Putin to meet BP chief Dudley this afternoon - Peskov

MOSCOW. Feb 7 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin will hold a meeting with Robert Dudley, the head of BP, on Thursday.

"This afternoon we expect that Putin will meet with Mr. Dudley, BP's general director. You know, the company has long had a presence on the Russian market," Dmitry Peskov, the Russian president's spokesman, told reporters.

BP is the biggest foreign shareholder in Rosneft with a 19.75% stake. It also has three joint ventures in Russia and plans gas and LNG projects with Rosneft in Russia and abroad.
