Russian, Belarusian registers begin preparations for bankruptcy data sharing
MOSCOW. Feb 8 (Interfax) - The Belarusian Unified State Register of Bankruptcy (BUSRB, bankrot.gov.by) and the Russian Unified Federal Register of Bankruptcy (Fedresurs, bankrot.fedresurs.ru) have agreed to a partnership that will allow Russian users access to bankruptcy information in Belarus via the Fedresurs website and Belarusian users access to information on bankruptcy procedures in Russia via the BUSRB website.
The register operators, JSC Interfax and the "Information Center of the Economy Ministry of the Republic of Belarus" state unitary enterprise, signed the corresponding memorandum on February 7.
"Information exchange between the registers and greater transparency of bankruptcy procedures will allow companies participating in Russian-Belarusian turnover of goods to more effectively assess risks in operations with partners and in so doing, increase the effectiveness of their cooperation," Maxim Vashemirsky, head of the Belarusian Economy Ministry
