Qiwi CFO Karavayev to leave company in May

MOSCOW. Feb 14 (Interfax) - Qiwi CFO Alexander Karavayev is leaving the payment services provider on May 16 and a replacement for him has not been found yet, the company said in a press release.

Karavayev will take a top management position at a privately held development company. His "transition is not related to any disagreements with the management or the board of directors of the company on any matter," Qiwi said.

Karavayev has worked at Qiwi for seven years. He will continue to serve as chief financial officer, including through full year 2018 and first quarter 2019 financial results announcements, and will assist in the search for a replacement and an effective transition of his duties, Qiwi said, adding that it aims to appoint a successor in the near future.
