Peskov says has no info on sending of Russian humanitarian assistance to Venezuela
MOSCOW. Feb 21 (Interfax) - Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said he has no information on Russia sending humanitarian assistance to Venezuela.
"I don't have the relevant information and therefore I cannot answer this question now. I need to check," Peskov told reporters.
Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro said on Tuesday that 300 tonnes worth of humanitarian aid from Russia was supposed to have been delivered to the international Caracas airport on Wednesday. He said the Venezuelan authorities had paid for that supply.
