Alexander Venediktov appointed as Security Council's deputy secretary
MOSCOW. Feb 21 (Interfax) - President Vladimir Putin has appointed Alexander Venediktov as Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council.
"To appoint Venediktov, Alexander Nikolayevich, as Deputy Secretary of the Russian Federation Security Council, by relieving him of his current office," a decree published on the Kremlin website reads.
Prior to this appointment Venediktov served as an assistant secretary in the Security Council.
