HMEIMIM (Syria). Feb 27 (Interfax) - Militants operating in Syria's Idlib de-escalation area continue to violate the ceasefire, the head of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of Opposing Sides in Syria, Lieut. Gen. Sergei Solomatin, said at a press briefing on Tuesday.
"Over the day, the militants attacked al-Shakfa, Skalbiya, Tall-Sahab, and Maharda (twice) in the Hama province, Nahshabba, Roiset-Roshu, Ruaset-Iskander (twice), and Kabuh in the Latakia province, and Sukkari (twice), al-Wasita, and Tall-Alush in the Idlib province," Solomatin said.
He added that militants operating in the 55-kilometer zone keep blocking the exit of civilians from the Rukban camp.
"The Russian Center for Reconciliation urges commanders of illegal armed units to stop armed provocations and to take the path of a peaceful settlement in areas under their control," Solomatin said.
