RusHydro expecting to generate 136 bln-139 bln kWh of electricity in 2019

MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - RusHydro expects to generate 136 billion-139 billion kWh of electricity in 2019, the generating company said in a presentation.

The Boguchanskaya HPP is expected to generate 13.6 billion kWh.

In 2018, the output of RusHydro's power facilities grew 3% from the 2017 level to 144.3 billion kWh. Thus, the decrease in 2019 is expected to be 4%-6%.

RusHydro Group is a power holding company that manages hydropower plants in Russia. Installed capacity of the group's plants is 39 GW including capacity in the Far East which includes thermal power plants and the Boguchanskaya HPP. The Russian government owns around 60.6% of the company and VTB a further 13.5%. The free float is 25% and treasury stake is 0.9%.
