Entertainer Zelensky leading Ukrainian presidential ranking with 21.6%, Tymoshenko, Poroshenko have about 14% - poll

KYIV. Feb 27 (Interfax) - About 21.6% of Ukrainians planning to go to polling stations in the presidential election scheduled for March 31 intend to vote for entertainer Volodymyr Zelensky, 14.9% for Batkivshchyna party leader Yulia Tymoshenko, and 14.4% for incumbent President Petro Poroshenko, as seen from findings of a poll conducted by the Oleksandr Yaremenko Ukrainian Institute of Social Studies and the Social Monitoring public opinion survey service from February 16 to 23.

Another 8.6% of the voters intend to support Opposition Platform - For Life candidate Yuriy Boiko, 6.9% Civic Position leader Anatoliy Hrytsenko, 4.9% Radical Party leader Oleh Lyashko, 3.2% Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovy, 3.1% Nashi party leader Yevhen Murayev, 2.1% Opposition Bloc - Peace and Development Party candidate Oleksandr Vilkul, and 1.9% former Ukrainian Security Service chief Ihor Smeshko.

As many as 80.4% of those polled are determined or likely to go to polling stations, 13.3% categorically refuse or are unlikely to do so, and 6.3% are undecided.

Some 2,047 respondents were interviewed in all regions of Ukraine apart from the areas in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions not controlled by Kyiv.
