Gazprom Energoholding may build another 2-4 power plants in Serbia - head
PANCEVO. March 7 (Interfax) - Gazprom Energoholding LLC (GEH) is considering building another two to four power stations in Serbia, General Director Denis Fedorov told journalists.
"We have created a working group, which is considering options for construction of thermal power plants (TPPs) and combined cycle power plants. It's hard to say anything about timeframes at this point, as this will be connected to Turk Stream," he said.
GEH may build an additional two to four power stations, he said.
"We're analyzing three-four sites," Fedorov said.
On Thursday, GEH launched construction of the Pancevo TPP in Serbia with capacity of 200 MW. The station is due for completion in 2020.
